Strengthen Your Mind & Spirit!

Today, life’s circumstances have many Christians living in fear rather than standing tall in faith.  It gets challenging for Christians who are trying to abide by the principles of Christianity. The Bible talks about these times that we are experiencing now.

There is a big difference between reading about the story of Job and actually living out the tribulations of life.  Many Christians are feeling that although they’re seeking to do the right thing the world seems to be embracing hate and destruction, instead of love and building up. The world seems to accept the “wrong things” as status quo.

This is not only happening in our government but in our workplaces, organizations, schools and even our homes.  It just does make sense does it? This is why you cannot lean unto your own understanding.  However, if you are studying the Word of God you’ll know that right now you are Victorious. Remember, as Christians we must study to show ourselves approved.

In Romans [8:28] it states “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” NKJ This is not just a scripture to quote, but it really is the ammunition you need to annihilate any doubt that you are on the right track as a Christian today.

In Roman 12:2 it states, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” NKJ

If you feel like you’re doing all the right things (faithfully attending church, working hard for your family, faithful in your marriage, being diligent in your business etc.) and you’re not getting the results, it’s not your imagination. There is an attack also going on in the personal and professional lives of Christians. Therefore, we must renew and strengthen our minds daily in order to find peace in pain.

This week, Living In the Spirit will focus on Scriptures to stand on to strengthen your spirit and mind. You must be able to not only cope, but dominate any circumstance that may leave you confused or weakened.  You can’t look for the Word when you need it.  You have to be armed with the Word prior to the attack.  Remember, you may not be able to control your circumstances, but you can control your response.
