If you think you can do it all yourself, there’s really no place for God in your plans. We’re back to Philippians [4:13]. Has God asked you to give anything up to go up to the next level? Are you ready to make deposits in your people so that you can move up? Any person that decides to edge God out and put Christ in the passenger seat will not reach their goal. Christ must be in the drivers seat. An ego trip is a trip nowhere. Ego will cause you to make decisions out of scarcity. Some people can’t give up their ego because of the need of acceptance. But you have to be able to eat rejection for breakfast. You have to be able to accept rejection and failure.
