5/29/19 – Innovation gets you to the top of traditional businesses, but in network marketing, it’s about duplication. Most people are un-coachable — They will have a mentor, or an elder, or a leader in their field tell them something and do the complete opposite. Because they think it doesn’t work. Or it’s too hard. “Listen to counsel and receive instruction so that you may gain wisdom in the future … Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” Proverbs 19 & 20. King Solomon asked God for wisdom as he was taking on the legacy of his father. You only duplicate producers when you are focused on your self. When you build you business on “me, my, I” instead of “you, ours, us,” you’ve already failedZ Have the best interest of the people that you’re leading. A billionaire told me, “Whatever you’re trying to get better in, find the person who’s the best at that and go listen to them.” Some people might be good at it. They might have part of the story. But the best? Go listen to them. That is when I began to get wisdom and instruction. If you want to become foolish, listen to those who don’t follow instruction. Duplicate what’s worked for those who are better, wiser, more successful in your industry.
